About Me and Creativelife Lists

Got your coffee? {Or wine or water or whatever floats your boat?}

Great!

Hi, again.

I’m Janet and I’m so happy you turned up here. It gets a bit lonely out in the blogosphere – is that still a term?! – and visitors make everything much better. 😉

I’ll be honest – and this is super embarrassing – this blog is about 10 years in the making. {I’m blushing just thinking about this!} I could never decide what I wanted to write about – see above – until finally, finally, finally, I just decided to write. You’ll find a random assortment of good stuff here from parenting ideas to travel tips to living with rheumatoid arthritis to taking good care of yourself….

The list of things I’ve learned, topics I’m interested in, and places I want to visit is endless!

Speaking of list – what’s with the list thing, right? Basically I like lists – they allow me to make a little more sense of the overwhelming amount of information and thoughts I have racing around my head.

Anyone with me on that?

I’d really like to “meet you” and hear a bit about what brought you here. Connecting and being a part of a like-minded community is a bit like a cup of warm coffee – it just makes things better – and I’d love for you to join us!

Email me at janet@creativelifelists.com and I promise I’ll respond!

Before we wrap this up, I’d like to present my first list…

7 Random Things about Me

  1. I’m a work-from-home mom of a girl and boy {ages 7 & 11}.
  2. I could play Boggle all day if I had a willing partner. {My husband can only take so many rounds of losing. ;}
  3. Libraries are one of my favorite places in the world.
  4. When we had a dog I shared popsicles with him.
  5. Tex Mex food – specifically cheese enchiladas and queso from Torchy’s Tacos – is my comfort food.
  6. I have to force myself out of the house – especially in the winter time. I think I’m part bear because once the temperature goes down, I relish the idea of hibernating.
  7. I was a teacher years ago and even though I’m not currently in the classroom I’m a teacher at heart. I love learning and my poor brain is interested in about a million things. I have to really hunker down and force myself to focus so I don’t start 100 projects all at once.

Okay, that’s about it. Remember to email or sign-up so we can stay in touch. I sure hope you become a regular around here. 😉
